We excited to have Brent Mecham from the Irrigation Association present his findings on the efficiency of drip irrigation vs. overhead spray irrigation. You'll be surprised to hear the results! In addtion to the social, lunch, and presentation, we are offering attendees free trade show passes to the 2008 Utah Green Industry Conference Trade Show, running from Jan 28-30 at the South Towne Expo Center.

UASLA 2008 Awards Program: Call for Entries
The Utah Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects is pleased to issue a formal call for entries for the 2008 Utah ASLA Awards Program. Forms are available on the "Documents" page of this webpage.
Participation in the awards program will help broaden professional boundaries, increase public awareness of the role of landscape architects, raise the standards of the discipline, and bring recognition to organizations and individuals who demonstrate superior skill in the practice and/or study of landscape architecture. A jury of qualified out-of-state professionals will review each submittal and determine winners in each award category.
Winners will receive their awards and will be honored by having their work presented April 11, 2008 at the Utah ASLA 2008 Annual Meeting at the Homestead Resort in the Heber Valley. Award winning projects will also be featured in upcoming ASLA chapter newsletters, and will be used for displays promoting the profession.
Entries are due by 5:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2008. Delivery must be via mail, express mail, or hand delivery (no electronic submissions are accepted) to:
