LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION! Frederick Law Olmsted (1822-1903) is recognized as the founder of American landscape architecture and the nation's foremost park designer. Produced by the So. CA Chapter of ASLA, our first video production is based on Don Marquardt's popular live stage presentation of Olmsted's life and accomplishments. This 37-minute video focuses on his early life influences, many failures trying to find a successful career.
